Uncle Milt's Birthday Party {the southern one}

WHAT A NIGHT. How do I describe all the excitement of this momentous occasion.
First of all it was held at Bienvenuto, which is a terrific restaurant and catering place. We took Auntie Julie and Uncle Fred as well as Auntie Fran. When we came into the catering hall Uncle Milt and his beautiful wife Kathy were there to greet us. {we were the first ones, naturally.} Uncle Milt did not look a day older than 60 and Kathy was outstanding. She had a magnificent dress on in a burgundy color and it was highlighted by the unbelievable diamond necklace that Milt bought her for her 65th Birthday. Talk about eyepopping. Most women would be jealous but I must tell you I was so PROUD. Then the crowd started to arrive and I had so much fun watching the reception that your Uncle Milt and Kathy got,.

One of the highlights of the evening was the surprise >> Bobby and Elaine came and no one knew. Elaine looked beautful and healthy. It made a terrific evening even better.

Then came the toasts and of course your Auntie Saundra had a few words about her memories of Uncle Milt when she was a little girl.
I have to add to all this by telling you about the people who were there and the wonderful and warm remarks that were made about both Uncle Milt and Kathy. I felt as though I were on cloud nine, I was so proud. They are truly loved by a lot of people and you should all feel as proud as I do.

Let's hope that there will be many more celebrations in the future.

I also want to add that Gail and I have been speaking through the E-Mail quite a bit. Her late brother, Jackie, and I were very close and I was with her family a lot when I was young. Because of the Blog we are rekindling. Thank you, Scott. My sister, Hannah, would feel so good to know that this was happening.
