You're probably tired of New Year's lists, but let's do our own: highs and lows for 2004, and resolutions for 2005.
Here are mine.
Unfortunately, the low far outweighs the high, but that's life sometimes. Carol Luce, Ben's mom, died in April. Can't do much worse than that.
The high for 2004: Ben went off to college and had a successful first semester, knock on wood.
My new year resolution: to start learning a musical instrument (probably piano/keyboard). Stacy tells me that learning a new skill is good exercise for an (aging) brain.
What were your best and worst for 2004?
Do you have any new year resolutions?
Hope all my family, far and wide... er, let's skip the "wide" and just say everywhere... has a wonderful 2005.

Highlights of 2004 were the months long celebration of our 25th anniversary which included a reunion in Laguna Beach with old friends, a trip to New York for my Dad's 80th birthday and an incredibly special and unforgettable cruise to Mexico. (Yes, I know all those events were not planned for our anniversary but since it took place in what we consider "anniversary season" between the date we met and the date we married, it felt like we were celebrating the whole time.)
A resolution? I have to say that would be to continue in the new healthy lifestyle we started in 2004 with the way we eat and regularly exercising. Don't want to undo all our hard work.
Scott, I wish you lots of fun learning to play piano. I took lessons for a while as an adult and I really loved it. I learned a couple of classical pieces that I was very proud of.
Oh, and by the way, just to clear up any confusion, Jenny's name isn't Jennifer. It's Jenny Rebecca, and is usually called Jenny.
I thought that my mother died late in '03. If she died in '04, she would have made my "not so good" list.
