Baltimore

Found our way to Baltimore this morning, about a three hour drive from Rehoboth Beach, and made a bee-line for two museums, The Dime Museum and Great Blacks in Wax. The Dime Museum is a museum of side shows from the 19th and early 20th century with all sorts of strange and unbelievable objects (see photo of Jersey Devil). Great Blacks in Wax is really a history of Afro-Americans since slavery with wax likenesses of many famous blacks. After the museums, we rested up in our hotel room (The Mount Vernon), almost had dinner in an Afghan restaurant but arrived too late to get a table, so we ended up in a wonderful Indian restaurant instead. That's it for our journey, tomorrow at one o'clock, we fly back to Albany.
