MY LIFE

It has taken on a new meaning the past 2 years. As most of you know Uncle Bob was operated on 2 years ago for pancreatic cancer and I am happy to tell you that he had his 6 month cat scan 10 days ago and the report is good. Everything is fine and hope it stays that way. The passing of my 2 sisters has also changed me. I appreciate the connection with my nieces and nephews and each and every day. I would like all of you to remember that there is nothing in this world more important than family. Too many of our nieces and nephews have distanced themselves from us, not just in miles, but in thoughts. Your Grandad and Granny was all about family and that is a legacy that you have to live up to.

This is not preaching, for those of you who know me realize that I am more about fun and good times, but there is a time for seriousness too.

A word to the wise. Do not retire at a young age like we did. Stay viable and work as long as you can. Trust me, you will need all the finances that you can gather up. I guess I am in a serious mode tonight but seeing that I am your 70 year old aunt I feel that I owe you some wisdom.

Hope I gave some of you food for thought. Can't sign off without saying that I love you.
