Hannah's unveiling
Just returned for my mother, Hannah's, unveiling in Florida. A low key event that had us reading prayers and saying some private good-byes. The high point was Aunt Saundra drizzling some vodka on the grave for my mother. After the unveiling, most of us went to my mother's favorite Chinese restaurant for lunch. Other than Uncle Milty and Kathy getting lost (due to Uncle Bob's directions?), lunch was very enjoyable and it was good to see the family together. Here is a picture of the headstone of my mother and father (not to be morbid, but this blog is dedicated to my mom) and the group just after the unveiling. Who can name everyone? Hint: Uncle Freddy (Becker) is barely visible in the back behind some flowing hair. If you were at the unveiling you are not eligible to answer.

P.S. I can identify everyone except the gentlemen on each end and she of the flowing hair, but I will wait and give others a chance so as not to get my hand slapped! :P
OK, nobody's gonna play? I'll give it a try...from left to right: man I don't know, Auntie Julie, Zena, man & woman I don't know, Uncle Freddie (per Scott's hint), my Dad, Auntie Fran, Uncle Bobby, Auntie Saundra, Kathy, man I don't know.
As for the people I don't know, at first I thought the man to the left and slightly behind Zena was Joel, but maybe that's Joel to Auntie Julie's right and the others to the left of Zena are her son & daughter in law? Forgive me Zena & Joel but I haven't seen you since my brother Mark's bar mitzvah in 1972 and I didn't get to sit at the big cousins table.
As for the gentleman to the left of Kathy, maybe he's the rabbi who did the ceremony? He's wearing a yarmulke.
You have everybody but that darn gentleman on the right end of the photo. That would be my uncle Moishe (Steve), my father's brother. The last of the generation. 86, I think, and doing well. He lost his wife, my Aunt Sylvia, a year or so ago, but he mentioned a new woman companion.
