I published a comment on Scott's post about the party but I do not see it so apparently it did not get on. First of all I sincerely hope that I did not insult anyone with my comment about Uncle Milt being our Jesus Christ but it was a remark used many times over the years and only meant as a compliment because he was the only boy and loved so much,. However if any of you were insulted my deepest apologies. I did PARTY quite a bit but what FUN,.,...
Scott, you write so beautfully. You had me laughing and crying. I printed it out so that I could show it to my friends, I am that proud of you and the memories.

Auntie Saundra,
You most certainly did not offend me. I totally understood the context and meaning of your remark and I think everyone else did too. It was funny. I'm so glad you were having such a good time. The party was awesome, don't you think? Bob & Elaine really know how to make everyone feel welcome and throw a good party.
I'm not sure Uncle Milty has ever been one to "turn the other cheek," but, heck, you were doing what Rattets do best: partying and saying what comes. I'm sure everyone took it in the spirit in which it was said. If someone was offended, well, they are just too sensitive to be hanging around Rattets.
It was great to see everyone at the party. Stacy (my wife) got to see the Rattet clan in action. She comes from good Italian stock (on her father's side), so is not unfamiliar with, shall we say, vivacious families. She was practically swooning on the ride back (though could've been from that last cocktail).
